OAKLAND CONTRACTOR RECOGNIZED FOR FINE DESIGN
On The Beam Remodeling Named to Remodeling Magazine’s Big50

OAKLAND, Calif., July 18, 2002 – The editors of Remodeling Magazine have selected On The Beam Remodeling as one of the “Big50” best remodeling companies in America.

Steve and Lisa Schliff, the husband-wife owners of the Oakland-based firm, received the award in May at the publication’s Remodeling Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. The magazine recognized On the Beam Remodeling for its fine design and innovative practices. The 16-year-old company provides a full range of services from large additions and kitchen and bath remodels to window installations and exquisite ceramic tile work. The company’s 2001 revenue was $870,000.

As Big50 honorees, the Schliffs will serve as expert sources for future articles published in Remodeling Magazine.

“Teamwork has been the key to our success,” said Lisa Schliff. “We take care of our staff and crew, they take care of us, and we all take care of the homeowner.”
